MINIMUM RATING POLICY

We know Ladder Ratings can swing week to week. So instead of penalizing one or two off-days:
– if you drop to 3.4 we’ll let it slide
– if you drop below 3.2 we’ll pause your ladder participation, and encourage you to work on your game before trying your hand at the ladder again. And we’re happy to help with suggestions or lessons.
– If you’re 3.2-3.39, you’re welcome to have one shot to make a Hero’s Journey back above 3.4 Ladder Rating. If you’re in this range twice in a row, we’ll pause you on the ladder as above.

We aim to strike a balance between keeping play competitive on the bottom courts, and allowing for a ‘bad day’.
